If you live in Williamstown, and missed internationally renowned physician Dr. Paul Farmer when he spoke at Williams College on May 9, here’s your chance to see and hear his inspiring talk: "Mountains Beyond Mountains: Healing the World." Williamstown Community Television (WilliNet)-Channel 17 will replay Farmer’s lecture on May 22, 23, and 24. Farmer spoke to a full-house and enthusiastic audience at Williams. Farmer describes his work dealing with diseases that disproportionately afflict the poor, particularly in Haiti and Africa. Paul Farmer grew up in North Adams and still has family here. Now, he divides his clinical time between Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and a charity hospital in rural Haiti.
