Williamstown, Mass. - The Kids First! Film Club at Images Cinema is offering a variety of family-friendly films on Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17. Admission to both shows is $2.
On Friday, June 16 at 3 pm "Little Manhattan" (ages 8+, 84 minutes) will be shown.
Plot Synopsis: Ten-year-old Gabe was just a normal kid growing up in Manhattan, untill Rosemary Telesco walked into his life. But, before Gabe can tell Rosemary how he feels, she tells him she will not being going to public school any more. Gabe has a lot more to learn about life, love and girls.
"Little Manhattan" will be repeated again as one of four films shown on Saturday, June 17 at 10 am. Other films include:
"Peep: Dry Duck" (ages 2-5, 20 minutes)
Plot Synopsis: The animated series Peep and the Big Wide World, gives wings to the innovative idea of teaching science to preschoolers with wry and distinctive visual humor, charming plotlines, and lovable characters.
"Lon Popo" (ages 4-8, 12 minutes)
Plot Synopsis: A Chinese version of Little Red Riding Hood that combines ancient Chinese panel art techniques with a contemporary palette of watercolors and pastels.
"Stars, Stars, Stars" (ages 7-9, 10 minutes)
Plot Synopsis: This story takes you on a colorful ride through outer space to visit planets and stars, using collage-style animation.
