WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Towne Field House at Williams College resembled an indoor town square for a few hours on Saturday as dozens of organic and local food businesses displayed vegetables, carving, cheeses, knitting, preserves, gelato, literature and holiday cheer. It was all part of a Holiday Farmers Market -- one of two locations in Berkshire County over the weekend. The event drew hundreds of regional residents, who strolled and chatted.
