Bill,
Recently, I switched my Wall St. Journal subscription from the print edition to the online edition. First year cost is only $49. I don't mind paying that amount for the WSJ; probably won't mind paying the full price next year. I certainly would not pay for every single newspaper that I would want to read online. I like to jump around to local papers as news events happen. But to pay for looking? The WSJ would be the only one that I would consider.
