The following link will open a PDF file for download of a four-page letter dated May 14, 2021 and signed by Berkshire District Attorney Andrea Harrington. The letter, which has been the subject of news accounts in The Berkshire Eagle, was written to the chief judge of the Massachusetts district court system, Paul C. Dawley. It recites cases and makes assertions regarding Judge Jennifer Tyne of the Berkshire District Court. The owner of this non-news blog, Bill Densmore, made a request for a copy of the letter to Judge Dawley's office under the Massachusetts Public Records Law. Judge Dawley email replied suggesting the request be made to the district attorney, who's office then emailed a copy of the PDF to this blog's owner.

The letter is also the subject of an unsigned opinion piece on the website of the trade-publication Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, authored by a named editorial board. https://masslawyersweekly.com/
Below is a copy-and-paste of a Google search which provides links to Eagle stories, including a 2017 article reporting Judge Tyne's nomination to the bench by Gov. Charlie Baker. The governor is a Republican. Ms. Harrington is a Democrat. Neither judges nor prosecutors are political jobs per se, however.
