The Journalist's Creed was required by Walter Williams, the founder of the School of Journalism at the University of Missouri, to be memorized by his journalism students. I am always surprised how many journalists do not know the creed exist, and, hence, have never read it. I wish more bloggers would read and think about the meaning of the creed since they believe themselves to be journalists. I believe that blogging is an extreme form of democracy but it certainly is not journalism.
