The local newspaper is both the community fire as well as watering hole. The sooner more go out of business, the sooner people will see the necessity in having them. The web is great but it can't take the place or do the job of print and reporters on the beat.

The two greatest pieces of Ameriucan machinery are the printed book and newspaper. Nothing smells like victory than fresh ink on paper.
